DESCRIPTION:WHAT:  \nPublic Information Meeting regarding Geddes Road Improvements\n \n  \nWHEN:  \nTuesday\, June 20\, 2017 at 6 pm \n  \nWHERE:  \nSuperior Township Hall\n3040 North Prospect\nYpsilanti\, MI 48198\n(NE Corner of Prospect Rd & Cherry Hill Rd) \n  \nBACKGROUND:  \nThe Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday\, June 20\, 2017 at 6 pm at Superior Township Hall regarding improvements to Geddes Road. \nThe meeting will include a brief presentation at 6 pm and will be followed by an open house format\, providing individual citizens with the opportunity to discuss the proposed project with WCRC staff. \nThe Geddes Road improvements include the pulverization and rehabilitation of Geddes Road between LeForge Road and Prospect Road and the replacement of a concrete culvert on Geddes Road east of LeForge Road. \nThe project will begin on June 26\, 2017 and is expected to be completed in early September.  Geddes Road will be closed throughout construction with traffic detoured to LeForge Road\, Clark Road\, and Prospect Road.  Utility relocation work is currently being completed by other entities. \n  \nCONTACT:  \nIf you have any questions concerning this project\, please contact Matt MacDonell\, Assistant Director of Engineering\, at (734) 327-6688 or via email at macdonellm@wcroads.org. \nThe Washtenaw County Road Commission will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services\, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes or printed material being considered at the meeting\, to individuals with disabilities at the Public Information Meeting/Hearing upon 7-business days notice to the Washtenaw County Road Commission.  Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact Carrie Ryan\, Administrative Secretary\, by phone 734-327-6674\, by email ryanc@wcroads.org\, by fax 734-761-3737 or by mail at WCRC\, 555 N.
